It has been an eternity.. A LOT has happened and A LOT has changed.
As most of you know I recently became Co-Owner of a Salon called Fox & Crow! We are a full service salon in the heart of the Baker neighborhood located at 114 South Broadway.
The idea behind Fox & Crow Salon is a simple one: provide top of the lines services and products to every guest, every time.
F&C has stripped down to the basics of what makes hair and makeup great: using amazing products and techniques to enhance the beauty that is in everyone.
We use hair and makeup as a medium to express ourselves artistically. This motivation ensures that every guest leaves with the Fox & Crow signature, showing that the stylist put their heart into a customized design.
Each guest is welcomed as a part of the Fox & Crow family!! We hope to see you in our chair so that family can continue to grow all over the Denver Metro area.
An exciting yet overwhelming adventure…. I tell you what!! It has been such a life enriching experience, in just 7 short months we have become refined business owners with more issues than vogue. We’ve embraced each hiccup along the way, a VERY valuable way to learn and grow… not only as a professional in the industry but also as an individual!! We have come to learn the ins and outs of owning a small business, school of hard knocks style… Through this career transition I deeply appreciate your loyalty and patience. More adjustments will be made to the services I’m offering and the way I’m structuring the business of Chelsea Elle. During all of this I am doing my best to keep you, my client, at the forefront of my mind!!! Online booking is available at www.foxandcrowsalon.com
Along this journey we have also come to welcome another family member…. I’m due with #2 in Nov and will be taking maternity leave. While I’m out of “the office” Emily and Erin will be very happy to take appointments, in fact you might even love them more than you do me 🙂 Once again you can book online at the link provided above!! xx
Happy Fall.. until next time!
Hiiii there!! A quick post to let you know I’ve opened up another morning for appointments in salon..
Time slots dissappear quickly and demand is high! because of this I’ve made more availability in my schedule, Thursday mornings are the new hot spot!! See you there!
Appointments can be booked directly online at styleseat.com/chelsealassaline
Most recently I feel like I’ve mastered a part of my craft I’ve been chasing after for years. Coloring hair had never been my favorite part of being a hairstylist. I’ve always preferred cutting hair because I always get a gratifying result. I know if I over direct a certain way I’m going to get exactly what I’m anticipating. Its not that way with coloring, unless you’re a master colorist (#goals) anyways, it can be really hard. There’s sooooooo much that goes into it, there’s been many times I’ve wanted to give up! Not only is it chemistry but you’ve really got to think and problem solve on the fly! After years of struggling through trial and error, learning from discoveries and giving away free services to compensate for my mistakes I’m finally getting a grip. And the best part about it, I’m cranking out my clients desired end results like a boss. Just thought I’d share my success, I’m praising the hair God today and relishing in confidence. . .
Thanks for sticking with me and always challenging me. Xx love you all dearly.
Cheers to a dope formulation and full processing time!
So, it’s been a long time since I’ve posted. And I’m pretty sure every single blog post I write begins this way… lol I swear I have brilliant ideas and so many exciting things to share with all of you but somehow they never seem to find the surface!
I’m here to say, I adore my career people!! AbsolutelyLOVEit.
Between freelancing with Miss Darci Amundson (best Boudoir photographer of all times ever) To weddings with YOUR GLAM TEAM (we will pamper your socks off) and back behind the chair again at Sola ARVADA, I get to meet so many different individuals from so many different backgrounds! During consultations and throughout services I ask my clients questions, lots of questions. Not only about hair and makeup preferences but also about their lives. Selfishly its because I know there’s still so much to learn about life. I was once told “everybody you meet knows something you don’t” And while thats true, deep down, very tenderly, I really just care about my guests lives and experiences. I want to know your life. All of it. Iwanttoknowwhat’sgoingonThe deepest, darkest parts. The beauty rising out of ashes and every single triumph.
I take these ‘client’ relationships seriously, (really you guys are secretly my best friends) if that’s ever questionable I apoligize and ask for another chance!
Most recently I encountered a brunette ((dye))ing to be blonde.pun intended. As most of us know, THIS CONVERSION IS NOT A ONE TIME PROCESS! But that’s another blog for another day. Anyways, she spent umpteenth hours in my chair the past 3 weeks.. probably 10-15 total. This time spent together was something I cherished so deeply. (Legit, I came home today…reflected long and hard ) Not only because she trusted me with her long locks but also because she trusted me enough to be vunerable and exposed. Disclaimer, she hadn’t known me previously. She told me her story, her fears, her hobbies.. basically everything. After 15 hrs one would think you run out of things to talk about but honestly I think we could have kept going… it made me think about how far I’ve come. I used to dread talking with people. Now I love it. It’s a true answer to prayer.
I’ve come to realize, we’ve all got baggage, some worse than others but in the end I think we’re all here to help each other get through it. If we’re willing.
I say all this to conclude how thankful I am. Not only for each of you as individuals being present in my life but also you helping me strive in the industry I’m so passionate about. For helping me grow!

Hey there! I’m so excited to see you here.
Wanted to let everyone know that even though I have limited availability (Sundays and Tuesday mornings) that doesn’t mean I can’t get you in the chair! If you’re interested in reserving an appointment and don’t see a time open that best suits your needs please contact me directly at 9705319050.
Were you hoping my return from maternity leave would come sooner than May?? If so, you’ve got your wish!! I missed you all so much I just couldn’t stay away…. I’m excited to catch up with you gems and get my hands back in some hair!
Due to some unforseen circumstances, I’ll be returning to the salon beginning in April, easing into the studio 1-2 days a week. This leaves scheduling very limited, if you’ve been hiding those roots and cutting your own bangs I encourage you to book as soon as possible!!
I haven’t opened scheduling on the online booking site so please feel free to call or text me to reserve your appointment!! 970.531.9050
